Whispers of Your Voice

My road is broken, the path unclear,
Yet the whispers of Your voice, I hear.

"Press on," You say, "don't ever quit,"
But with my wounded heart, I sit.

"I can't go on, the road's too hard,
"The place I long for seems too far."

Again I hear You, in tender voice,
"Rise up My child, and make a choice."

"Trust Me as I lead you now,
"Don't worry yourself with 'why' or 'how.'"

"Step by step, you will see,
"It's in the journey that you'll find Me."

"I love you and I'll lead you along,
"It's as we go that I'll make you strong."

"Our travels together are one step at a time,
"You can trust Me child, because you're Mine."

"Choose step on, then two, then three,
"Each step is good, as long as you're following Me."
